      The impact was so abrupt that even high strength steel and thicker A pillars couldn't keep the roof from flattening, though. An older car would've flattened into the door proper and been almost certainly unsurvivable.

      That was a seriously stupid move on the driver's part. I wonder if he was even 18 yet, as that looks like a 16 year old "decision". (I had the sound turned down, so they might've said.)
