Any tips for not breaking this stupid thing when changing valve body?
Basically the recommendation is to treat this as a non-reusable part and replace it any time you have to remove it. Its circuits and wire traces are very prone to getting brittle from heat cycles, and they often go bad without anyone even touching them. At $30 for a new one, just plan to replace it when you change the valvebody.
