I'm surprised that there don't appear to be a thread for this one yet ...

I really like this car, this exact car. Like will we get this in NA? Obviously a stick won't happen, probably no hatch either. But they really nailed the interior, Audi has been killing it with the MMI lately.

Think it is worse than I was expecting. This is not good. Switch to a TTRS instead of waiting for next RS3? Wait for the S58 Supra?

Why wouldn't you want the scroll wheel? It is so much easier to use while driving than the touch screen in an mk7.

Is the god damn volume button next to the shifter touch now too?...

i'm sure they are functional, but the driver side air vents look like they were...tacked on? a little off-putting.

for NA market: plant me squarely in the "no manual, no care" corner. Audi hasn't been on my radar in years. to echo others, those driver's air vents look like a tacked on afterthought. And why the massive black triangle bezels around the infotainment screen??? It's the perfect spot for those out-of-place tacked-on vents to be located.

The touchscreen is very intuitive compared to a scroll wheel, especially when using nav and having 2 volume knobs both next to where your hand will be, on the shifter of on the wheel.

Bummer. The B9 is an excellent product and they sold a manual through 2019 MY. Maybe you should have fixed your radar.

Nothing really ground breaking here, but two gripes are the removal of the scroll wheel and those a/c vents.

Audi's MMI always worked well, and when rolled out appeared to be an evolution of BMW's idrive. The move to full touch screen makes it more in line with my car, albeit my car's tech is long in the tooth. I want for a scroll wheel a la idrive/MMI in my car, though I admittedly handle 95% of inputs through the steering wheel or my phone directly.

Audi has been knocking it out of the park with its interiors, this one also looks good, but that a/c vent is a total after thought and ruins the flow of the entire dashboard.

Clicked on this thread, saw the interior- first thing I noticed was the stick shift and immediately thought GREAT my wife would love this.

If no stick comes here, well- she won't buy it.

Forget manual...we'd be lucky to just get the hatchback version of the new A3.

Looks 100x better than the horrible new GTI. I'll take one without stick please

We haven't had an A3 Hatch since 09.

I do wonder with no more Golf and only GTI and R if Audi would bring this stateside. I don't see this eating into GTI or R sales.

Looking at it a second time and I'm digging the driver's vents. Not "tacked-on" or "an afterthought" at all IMO. A designed component of a modern driver's cockpit.

For maximum performance from the vents, why would you want one correctly placed vent for the driver and one that is too low? You wouldn't but the dash design of many cars don't allow for the middle driver vent to be the same height as the door-side driver vent.

      Cute car.

      Is the sedan returning?

Is there a crossover version since 'Merika doesn't buy sedans anymore?

The silver ring sh*t at the bottom corners of the front bumpers have to go. Such a stupid styling trend for Audi -- looks absolutely hideous on all of their cars, including the A4 refresh:

"Of course that's just my opinion; I could be wrong."

If the A4 had a manual option in 2019 I would have bought it, but they ended in 2018. Instead I got a Genesis G70, the last sport sedan in this country still available with a manual.

Oof. That part is awful. I didn't mind it as an identifying feature of a Regal GS over the base model,

Putting it on a bunch of different Audis though?

If it's like anything they've done in recent years, you can spec a black optics pack which will make all the silver trim black.

This is so much better, inside and out, than the new GTI.

I like the fender humps. Don't love the Honda Civic fake vents in the bumpers.
I really like the interior. Aside from the grandma's quilt seats.
      I like bikes.
