The 1.4tsi has said to have gone from chain drive back to a " life time belt drive for the cams. See the thing is l can get a 180hp 1.8T for 400$ but if l have a belt failure it could kill me in texas.
Texas is slick it has a mini autobahn . Speed limit is 65 to 85 but 70mph.
So is there a " life time " or chain reinforced belt for the 20v? I would really not mind having a 20"( extensive fender work) wheeled mk3 gls 20v although they say the 16valves are better the 20valve has too much airflow
