I have been contacted with wheels for sale - seller has pictures that seem legit enough. However, I noticed they used two different names over a series of email messages - Then when i decided to purchase they sent bank information using yet another name. The final tip off was when they sent a link to this seemingly sketchy website as proof of shipment : https://digitalcourierservices.com/ and could not produce any document showing shipping cost & weight . but did send a document that looked like it had been created in Word showing they had shipped something that day. Anyway, just sharing this so people don't get scammed out of $1,000 - total waste of time

Oh, the shipping company website was created just in the last few months:

      Crappy

      Thanks for the warning.

What wheels were they trying to sell?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body.
But rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn-out and loudly proclaiming: WOW! What a ride!!

I had posted a Want to buy on some BBS wheels. They found something close and offered it up for sale... kind of wanted to do the .. 'send me a picture of the wheels with you in it and a copy of a local newspaper showing the date.' but it seemed sketchy enough already so just cut off communication.

here is the 'Proof of shipping'

note the weight .. 4 wheels + tires .. and the email for this big shipping company .. at gmail.com .. come on ...

You saw all of these red flags and you still sent money?

On their home page, it’s Digital Courier Service, but on the other tabs, it’s Delta Courier Services.... on the lower left of the shipping receipt, it’s Delta.

If anyone else posts a WTB type add.. just passing this along. they seem to create new accounts on here .. and then send you information regarding contacting them at an email address as they have exactly what you need. i have received 4 so far.. probably all from the same person(s) ?

i posted my WTB add on 12/10 .. these are the people that have contacted me since:

I have a NOS set of BBS RXs. Send me an email at [email protected] with a fully refundable $200 deposit (in Bitcoin) and I’ll dig them out of storage and take pictures for you.
