Oooh. I'm OK with my upcoming Telluride SX having the old logo.

Yep. Now I need to find one. Of the approximately 150 cars I've bought (mostly for CR, of course), this has been one of the hardest ones to find. Limited allocations of prestige packages, shortages of grey Nappa leather from suppliers. Forum posters talk about waiting 2-6 months for a car. (Meanwhile, I could have a built-to-order X5 in 4 weeks.)

It's not only the SX trim level. Even more mundane Tellurides are really scarce for what is a mainstream 3-row SUV. MSRP is the going rate, with markups common in some markets. Ugh.

It's not the badge, it's the brand name, Kia. It's synonymous with **** for most people...

The Stinger is a great car, a friend of mine has one and its really really good at what it does. Comfortable, well-equipped, well-built, genuinely quick, and with good sporty handling. It isn't perfect, but it is a damn good car.

Whatever marketing people at Kia & Hyundai keep okaying this sort of thing need to be exiled to a Best Korean gulag.

Total waste of money. A logo change isn't going to increase sales- the logo design doesn't prevent people from buying a car.

This just reminds me of my friend's father's story of when he first saw KIA dealerships. He had served in Vietnam. When he saw the first KIA's pop up here he thought they were selling the cars of those were K.I.A.

When it comes to logos, I can't understand what's wrong with the folks @ Mazda and why they can't leave well enough alone? I mean, what's the reason for all this nonsense?

      ^^^This.

Now that BMW 3 GT is discontinued, it's Stinger & A5 Sportback in this category...love them both! And, if we had to do it again, we'd easily pick one of the latter two.

Oh & badge whores, you know I hate 'em. If you build it, they will come, IMO. I don't care who makes it, but for my money I want the vehicle that's most fun, drives the best, is most reliable. If that's a Cadillac (ATS/CTS), Kia (Stinger, G70), or Buick (TourX) so be it.

Their dealers need an overhaul more than the logo...
