I recenty picked up a 2010 Tigaun six speed with 64K and put on a CTS catch can kit and I was wondering about what everyone is catching in their cans. I ran old ECS catch can kits on my modded MK3 VR6's and what I got was mostly water and some oil but they were separated, much like what I see from other MK5/MK6 guys running similar setups. Currently, every time I empty my can, it looks like thick chocolate milk. I've never had this happen before. Is anyone else seeing anything like this?

I have a 2015 tig with a Black Forest catch can. This is what I got last time I emptied it.

Yeah, catch cans will create lots of condensation due to the hot pcv gasses going into a cold catch can. 95% of what you're catching is probably water.
That's one of the reasons why I don't run catch cans on my cars.

Thanks MJG44. That's what my neighbor's BFI set up looks like and BFI seems to have a different baffle set up. Maybe it's the design of the CTS kit that's giving me "chocolate milk".
