My sister's Passat 1.9 tdi BLS from 2008 I´m messing with the particle filter and it may be full, the DPF lamp light is on and sometimes i have overboost failiure. What amazes me is that ifI force it to regenerate it does not get hot in the particle filter at all. Itswings between 200-350 degrees before and after particle filter. Have anerror on the glow plug relay, but could that be the cause? She has had it foralmost 2 years and says it has never hummed or smelled hot as they usually dowhen they regenerate. Anyone know what that might be? Or is the dpf just completelystopped?
PS : I have just changed cam and hydraulic lifters
