We're saying the same thing, in different ways. Let women do what they want. If it's STEM, great, if not, just as great. The scrapbooking/sewing analogy was more about most, which of course means there's exceptions, men not doing certain activities because they're "girly". Not to bring men's issues into a women's issues thread. There's a lot of insecurity out in the world, and two of the manifestations are saying women can't be engineers or be into cars. It can be discouraging the women, but as my dad always told me, consider the source.
