2xist is my cheap go-to brand for comfortable briefs. I'm well past my young-twink-slut phase so buying underwear based on showing it off isn't a thing anymore.

I have drawers full of Hanes Boxers. I'm ready to replace a bunch of them, but the concerns about quality have me concerned.

Boxer Briefs don't appeal to me for a few reasons. I can still lounge around the house late at night, or early morning in Boxers and if I see my kid in the hallway, she doesn't think anything of it.

I can't even imagine how that wouldn't lead to rashes in a hot / humid place. Your experience?

As for me and the original question, I just buy whatever the mid-priced all-cotton boxers are at Walmart. Can't stand briefs or boxer briefs. The latest were fruit of the loom and they've been very comfortable year-round and held up for a while now.

      Hanes boxer briefs.

I thought I had left some at our house on the Outer Banks when I went down for a trip myself. So I only packed one pair and had on one pair. I got down and there were no briefs or t-shirts in the dresser drawer. Crap! The list I looked at where I jot down what's in the dresser must have been from two trips ago.

Went food shopping and hoped that they may have some packs on a rack like they do for some things, as most shopping is over 20 miles away. Nope.

Asked the cashier if there was any place nearby for underwear. I didn't think so. She said there wasn't. Asked if I had to drive to Walmart 20 miles away. Yup!

Edit - The Hanes at Walmart I bought are crappy compared to other Hanes I've purchased.

I look at boxer briefs as … you'll see more skin on any beach.

I have work jeans in the garage for yard work and get changed in the garage. If a neighbor walked up, who cares? As I mentioned, they can see more skin on the beach.

I get mine on our usually-annual trip to no-sales-tax Oregon. $13 for 6 at TJMaxx. Hanes boxer briefs.

I hate paying a lot for underwear. I have a handful of hiking-specific ones because of chafing.

Tried Reebok; sit too low (probably great for plumbers). Tried Champion; too small (I'd have to order up probably 2 sizes to fit my legs). I've tried other cheap brands, always come back to Hanes.

I haven't tried Duluth Trading, tho.

A couple of videos on this web page which you guys probably need to view. Less than SFW! Also you might want to view them with your significant other.

Fruit of the loom and a few Duluth Trading, all briefs.

I've tried other styles and they just don't feel right.

Nautica boxers from Costco. I was picking up a 3-pack when the clerk said they would be discontinued.
I bought several packs, so I have some in reserve in my closet when needed.
Will wear Hanes Premium boxers in a pinch.

Expensive but totally worth the comfort. The company was originally named mypakage and has since been bought and rebranded to beneath. They have a pouch for the boys to minimize chaffing. I always buy the active ones or the pro ones.

Used to be Eddie Bauer boxer briefs, then they stopped selling them with no explanation. Went through quite a few brands but settled on Duluth Trading Co. Free Range boxer briefs.
