Keep in mind that generally with the 3/4 series concepts, they are very close to the production car. Here is the previous 4 Series Concept

Once you get past the grill it looks good. But still the grill alone is all the more reason to walk away from it.

I prefer the F32/F36 over this.

I kind of hate myself that I like the front end. I actually am not a fan of the side or rear. Side view looks too Audi and the rear is just bloated and odd looking. The rear is another i8 situation where it looks like its birthing out another car lol.

That front end and mundo kidneys are horrendous. The rest is sort of ok.

Sort of speechless why car makers seem to have lost their minds.

At the very least, I think there's some interesting sculpting going on in the front end.

Lexus gets a lot of **** for their front ends, but I think they also have some interesting stuff going on and when they nail it, it looks really good. I think BMWs have gotten quite stale and predictable at that end and I think the current design language has kind of run its course. Whether we like it or not, this is going to be the new normal, especially with the amount of sensors that are going to be on cars in the near future.

I suppose I'll have to see it, but wow. That's terrible. All I see from behind the B pillar is the current mustang. The e92 isn't the prettiest 3 series coupe, but not in the same league as this.

Ultimately though, this confirms my interest in moving to a c7 or porsche sports car after the e92. I'm sure the 4 series cars will drive well, but man do they have the potential to be heinous. And for the record, I still think the bangle 5 series and 7 series look terrible.

Yikes. You're going to really have to want an M3 with that grille on the front.

I just don't know what they were thinking.

It's a shame, because the 3 series is a really good looking car. And the top version is going to be ruined by German gaudiness.

I mean, what is it going to look like with license plates on the front???? Even a Euro plate is going to be horrific on this thing.

She looks like the Family Truckster.

Absolutely ghastly, especially with that visible bumper bar.

I was never really into the 4-Series, but this is absolutely stunning in comparison.

Are these things not designed with license plates in mind? Fugly

The grille looks a bit blobbier because of the tape covering up the corners but looks pretty much like what I expected, a watered down version of the concept with all the cool details removed.

      The rear

I like all the mid 00s BMWs

Especially after all the F chassis cars came out. The F10 5 was a big letdown

Yeah the E60 really made sense after the F10 came out

SWB F01 renders the F10 redundant

Would be interesting to see if they keep the license plate for the reveal.
With this car, I would actually want a front plate...
