It's ugly, but what's more ridiculous is "Avalon" and "TRD". How fast does granny need to get to Bingo??

Nah, plenty of youngish soccer moms drive RX350s, they might want something sporty; the Avalon is solely the car for 60+ year olds.

It's OK. This is a Dieselstation thread, so it's only a render.

Has trd ever offered a version of a car that was cheesy? I like the stuff they do with trucks, but the cars? Yuck.

I can't imagine cleaning that after driving through a bunch of bugs.

My wife's car has something similar on a much smaller scale and it is still a huge pain. The lower part of the grill has the horizontal strips that have an indentation that runs the whole length. At least it is glossy paint and not black plastic, but it's almost impossible to wax and get all the residue out.

Maybe someone will make a Toyota Avalon version of these screen guards.

to be faire, the current non-TRD Avalon is pretty much a rolling grill as well.

Any car which holds together for a whole race is too heavy.

I don’t understand how things have gotten to this point. Their styling was so timeless in the 90s.

Same...I don't know why, but each passing year I'm yet still surprised on how ugly Honda/Toyota vehicles have become.
It's like they are trolling the market to see how blind their customers are.

I still get ill every time I see a Honda Clarity.....dammmnnnnn
If you have a 5 cylinder, you don't need a stereo.

Pretty sure this design language was heavily supported by the American Dental Association.

I include most Nissan's in this bucket too, some are OK (Rogue, 370z) but some make me shake my head whenever I see them (Maxima, Morono).
