My buddy and I decided to make the trip up to VT this weekend for Wolfsgart. Couldn't have been better weather and the show was good.

We met in White River Junction. His new to him E63 AMG wagon was the steed of choice. What a car....

      Gassing up

Ass wagon - I mean it fits

Decided to get off the beaten path and ended up in Killington at the Killington Deli. If you have a chance, get a sandwich there.

We took Route 100 and the Mad River Scenic Byway instead of 89. Go to Killington on Route 4 and take a right on 100 if you want some great driving roads.

Got to the Exposition Center around 11AM and the line was already forming.

Once in we decided to reward ourselves with a cold beverage and watch cars roll in.

On to the cars. First stop the bathroom. Then the Exposition Center hall for the "Alpha Class".

      RWB was bananas...

I recently started crushing on VR6 MK4 wagons..

Super clean MK5...I still think these look pretty good when done right.

After this we headed back to the hotel for apps, naps, and then a swim. Spotted these guys in the parking lot of the hotel.

Met a guy from Canada named Jason at the pool. Really good dude with a turbo Porsche. He works for Liqui Moli and definitely travels in some cool circles as a result. We followed him down to the "Air Out" event in Winooski. More pics of that to come later.

The black Scirocco is mine. The white Scirocco is way too clean to be mine.

Damnit I don't know if I saw yours then. I knew we missed a section some where. I was going to be more impressed that you drove a shaved bay car all over Europe.

Thanks for the pics. This is where I live so I went to the "block party" Friday afternoon and brewhop friday evening. Amazing stuff. Seeing all kinds of friends enjoying the show makes me want to get in on the scene. OP, what was your favorite vehicle?

It was awesome. With all the money you are saving on fuel you should buy a project. Honestly if I had to choose a favorite car from the weekend it would be my buddies wagon. I am officially in love. That Saab would be right up there too.

There were so many great cars it was hard to decide what to look at. Agreed on the MK2. Everytime I go to one of these shows I find myself wanting another MK2.

I'm not sure if he is active on here anymore but that is germanblake's car.

I used to go up to VT with a friend to his family camp and we spend at lot of time on Route 100 fishing out through Moretown, Warren, Waitsfield, and the surrounding area. One of the most beautiful areas of VT in my opinion. Always fun to take the back roads over the interstate when possible.

I'll have to find a new route next year. I left from NH (North Conway Area) as well but went 302 > 91 > 2 > 89

Route 2 was horrible. Dodging potholes the entire way. Scenic, but annoying.
