      Sounds like an impulse buyer

Wow! New Type S rendering looks very good!

Holding out hope too since Acura has a reputation for "concept cars" actually being reveals of pretty much the production car - which in this case could be pretty sweet, fingers crossed!

Yes, transverse-engine + FWD/AWD platform, but still. Evos were too. Not that I'm saying this will be a new Evo, but still...has potential to be very good despite what compromises appear on paper.

Hoping Acura lets the 3.5TT from the NSX rip in this application & it's not too watered down...or easily unlocked in the aftermarket.

Not sure what it took, but glad something finally woke Acura!

TCL exclusive spy shots courtesy of yours truly (at least I'm pretty sure this is an Acura). Seems like it grew a bit compared to the last one.

Yeah watermark them or burlapp is gonna pretend he found them first

Is this going to replace both the txl and rlx? Like the ct5 replaced the cts and xts?

If HMA is smart it should.

Or at the minimum, replace the RLX with a new ZDX. The time is nigh for another damn crossover "coupe"

An Acurafied Civic could easily cover the lower half of Acura's sedan needs.

Eh I doubt anyone would pay me for something like this. Interesting car, but not sought after enough to get a scoop.

Hoping this is a true Type S with 3.5TT V6 from NSX.

Also hoping Acura releases a NSX sans performance hybrid motors & prices it to compete with mid-engine Corvette.

      Last, do right by the ILX & re-skin Civic Si/Type R + DCT/auto trans and/or SH-AWD.

Last week I brought you the TLX exclusive, this week I bring you the MDX:

Edit: not exactly sure if this is RDX or MDX...

When is the new MDX out? It is a strong contender for wife's next car.

My guess in nyias debut. Finally getting a twin turbo 6 to be more in line with the luxury competition too.

Seems cool; I couldn't hear the engine sound unfortunately due to ambient noise when I took the picture.

I'm really curious what they have in mind for the transmission. The ZF9 sucks when you start asking it to do more than loaf down the highway at 1900 RPM

The Honda 10spd is pretty damned good and has been out for a while now.

TL;DR should be banned and changed to ID;CR or I'm dumb, can't read.

This even I'm unsure of at this point. The 10spd AT is good, but I'm not sure it's a match for the V6TT. I can find out, but I won't be able to post about it.

The Aisin 8AT is rated to 350lb-ft which would be plenty for this. At a Honda worthy 7K RPM power peak that's damn near 480HP.

Personally I'm hoping they take what they learned from the 8DCT and apply it. That thing is basically the perfect all around transmission.

Haha yea i understand. Before the TLX was officially announced i remember thinking we’d get a dct..which was half true for the 4cyl.

Can you at least say when the official announcement of the specs would be?
