I personally can't stand color changes, and I would never buy a car that has had a color change. So I would go with the original Target Red. But that's me. And it's your car.

That's kind of the family of blue I'm thinking. Maybe just a hint more metallic to "Americanize" it.

I hate red cars too. White over red interior is really good on American iron.

Have you considered doing a wrap? If garage kept a good wrap will last you many years, and allow you to take some chances that aren't permanent.

      Pearl white on red is

For some reason I cannot find any good pictures online, but I have always loved Lexus Starfire pearl white.

It would pop amazingly on an American Muscle car.

A silver with a ton of metalflake or pearl topcoat would be really nice with a red interior. Same thing goes with a pearl white if it's a really white (not off-white) with a heavy pearl coat. That would keep the car from looking like a big dark blob and would set off the brightwork.

I think the grey would actually look pretty damn good. As posted I like the Audi Nimbus grey. I am also very partial to the Urano grey on the wife's Passat. It would be a great contrast with the red interior.

VW also had Flash Red for a while. My first MK4 GTI was Flash Red and it was a really nice red.
