R32 in Golf mk1, heating and cooling question ?

`Hi guys,

I did a R32 swapped Golf mk1 and I have a question regarding the cooling system. I used the original golf mk1 heater control valve for the cabin, this one is blocking the flow completly when closed, is this an issue? I took the water flow from the back of the cylinderhead and the other end is fitted in the thermostat housing, I now wonder is this is bad for cooling the head when I shut of the flow through the heater..

Any opinions ?

thanks

Opinion? Here's mine. If it is OK for the stock 4 cylinder, I suspect it will be OK for the R32. I have no idea how the coolant flow is thru that head but usually there is a upper radiator hose at the head and the lower hose at the block. Assuming it's similar, the I would not be concerned about the lack of flow that an open heater hose would ad/subtract.
