- How do you replace the a/c belt

      I have Audi 4000s for the god of me I can’t not figure out to replace the a/c belt there doesn’t seem to be a Tensioner anywhere ... it’s the 8v 1.8L ... how Dow you get the belt on ? Sorry seems stupid ... I can’t seem to find any info on this prolly because it’s stupid simple but I can’t seem to find it 😕

      The crank pulley splits, and has shims between the halves. Taking shims out increases tension on belt as it makes it ride higher in the pulley groove.
