What do folks do when using a floor jack to save the pinch welds and sheet metal jack points from getting damaged. What are the best ideas out there?

      Thanks

I've actually been thinking about buying those jacking pads from ECS. Might be worth it long term.
Neuspeed CAI install on my VR6, you should check it out.

      These work brilliantly:

You can also purchase hard rubber hockey pucks with a slot cut out of the middle.

The jackpoint pads that ecs sells are only intended for a four point post lift in which case the load wait is spread EVENLY across all four points. Those jack points are not meant to be used by a floor jack.
