But the tire/wheel/suspension scares me. That took a HARD hit.

Either $13,889 if the chassis isn't bent, or totaled if the chassis got tweaked. I wouldn't want that car back if the chassis moved at all.
We have a winner! Initial estimate is $13820.04. $7k in labor and $5k in parts.

Other than the obvious body repair, the rear left suspension needs to be overhauled. Somehow the rear impact foam and beam were not hit.

But there is a "Unibody Pull" with 3 hours of labor listed in the estimate, which is strange because the shop said the chassis looked ok.

Yea, I have it with State Farm. If I get hit I pay the $200 deductible for it with no adverse effect on my premiums.

They wouldn't be pulling on the frame if the chassis was okay.

      I wasn't too far off.

Goes without saying but test the drive the heck out of the car before signing off.

I'd straight up ask the body shop to total the car, or accidentally rip the subframe apart trying to bend it back into shape. There's always more damage, and with an accident like this I'd rather they sent the car off to copart for someone who should know what they are getting rather than being the one stuck with it.

I feel like this is a body shop "built in" cost. No matter what they put it on the rack to "make sure"

I bet actuall billed comes out to 15+

Also, full replacement value for first four years on new vehicles is another additional awesome rider if your provider offers it.

I’ll guess around $12k will be the initial estimate and final bill closer to 15.

      Not totalled.

That's what happened with my A3 last year, appraiser wrote up to put on the rack and measure, they did do a little pull, something like 1/8 - 1/4 if I remember what the body shop told me.

$15K may be low, my $3.8K original estimate on the A3 ended up over $10K after 6 weeks in the body shop. Find a good body shop and they can take the repair cost to the moon.

I'll accept my winnings in the form of Monopoly money please.

I'd definitely ask what exactly needs "pulled", and I agree that the total will probably be higher in the end.

This. I'd add 1/3 to the estimate by the time it's done.
