You know what lens...16mm f/1.4 (kept it at f/4 with manual focus set for ~10 ft in front of the car).

Pretty sure the same mount you have, probably just rebranded.

This thread has delivered an outstanding return-per-click, for I too got sucked into buying a Boxster from following along.

I was torn between Cayman and Boxster, but I'm a sucker for open-air things. My Boxster is also an '07 S and it has not disappointed. Biggest challenge so far has been avoiding the modding path...thankfully the Targa and the Westy generate money-sucking sounds that keep my spending focus elsewhere.

100% inspired by this thread tho.
It sealed the deal, the search for the right car has been long.

You hear that Porsche Marketing Department? Sign me up!

Not gonna lie, I've been jonesing for a relatively cheap convertible for the summer and while at some point I wanna have an E30, I stumbled upon this bad boy.

      Kinda digging it.

I have many Home Depot trips ahead of me and just think of all the long baseboards and lumber I can have hanging out the back.

Do it That's a good looking Boxster! Are you in the camp IMS issues are sporadic?

When it's done 140k miles, yes.

I didn't worry about replacing the S62 rod bearings either, though oil analysis reports help allay those fears.

Good point, I missed the mileage on it! Now I have to read up on S62 - for the record, every time your thread pops up I scour the search engines for a clean Cayman

986 Boxster... do it! I'm looking forward to the thread about you replacing the IMS bearing in your garage already! I hear it's actually not that bad of a job, a fellow in my cycling club replaced the IMS in his by himself in his garage, at least so he says.
