Anyone else find NBC’s timing box on the left side of the screen a bit distracting?
It is handy seeing timing for all class leaders at a glance, but I dunno, I think I actually prefer Fox’s layout.
Alex Zanardi had an issue with the steering wheel but put up good numbers once he got going. They said that the big silver lever was his brake. Of course he hardly uses it.
A Corvette kerfuffle, hate that, but a long way to go.
They haven't shown much of Alonso on track.
GTD is the class to watch, 8 cars in lead lap.
For the Canadian fans, GTD p2 is #88 Audi* ,been very strong all race.
The 911 Pfaff Porsche in plaid livery dropped out during the wet caution.

The 2 Caddys have top speed advantage, if it dries out like it's supposed to, they should be able to draft and beat the Acura. It has oiling or cooling issues below 3500 rpm, one has already succumbed to it.
The GTLM is a 4 car shootout, 4 different manufacturers and all pretty equally matched.
GTD is looking great if you're a #88 follower.

I feel bad for Jordan Taylor, Kamui Kobayashi, and Renger van der Zande. Every interview revolves around what they think of Alonso. You’d think the guy drove the whole race. I hope that spectacle is finished with now that he finally got what he came for.
