Well kids, it's about that time again for sports car/endurance racing to begin. IMSA and the WEC still can't seem to find common ground (as usual) and with the WEC changing their rules again for this and next year, IMSA is primed for a solid year. The WEC's Super Season is set to end at Le Mans this year, so we'll see if they do that again in the '20-2021 seasons.

      - Will Fred win an endurance event in North America?
      - Can Zanardi be competitive during the Rolex 24? (Man, I ****ing hope so)
      - Can Penske/Acura step up their game against the Cadillacs?
      - Who will compete in LMP1 @ Le Mans?

This thread is for any major endurance racing series from WEC, IMSA, FIA, etc.

This will be my first time going to the Daytona 24h and I can't wait to see how Zanardi does, among the many many other things I've been dying to see live.
I am really interested to see how driver changes will go.

Also, great to see Alonso back out there.

Because everyone needs a little boost of morale during the day.

Alex Zanardi is a madman and truly heroic figure:

my whole life I've wanted to attend Le Mans, and may have the opportunity in 2020. we're planning a trip to Europe and the Nurburgring 24 is also on the list, but I feel like Le Mans would be worth it alone.

It is. When you are ready, let me know and I'll point you toward some tricks, things to see, people to meet, etc.

I will be at Sebring because WEC/IMSA and also my usual Road Atlanta. I know everyone loves DPi but I hope Hypercar regs work out, I would love to see GTLM(the only class I am interested in at this time) on steroids.

It'll be a modern-day GT1 class if it works, but the amount of OE interest isn't quite what they were hoping for.

Really excited to spend most of my weekend watching the Rolex 24 hours. Hoping the NBC Sports coverage is better than the Fox garbage we've had the last few years and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD will IMSA update their app - it is literally the worst thing I've ever used.

Be sure to bring really good rain gear. The Eiffel in May tends to be a bit moist.

Shaping up to be an epic race albeit kind of cold.
While I plan to see as many spots as I can while at the race, anyone have a specific area they found best to watch the race from?

All 9 GTLM cars within 1 second of each other in qualifying makes me so happy.

Pumped to watch the 24h this weekend.

Going to be attending Sebring for the first time this year, planning on the Glen as usual, and hoping to make it to VIR or Road Atlanta. It's going to be an awesome season!

ive given up on the official IMSA app, if im away from home, ill just stream the IMSA radio for audio until i can find a legit source.
there's rain forecast from 8am sunday through the end of the race. im stoked on the dpi & gtlm races. the gs + tcr race today was surprisingly good.
