Nbcsports has/had them for replay in their app (cable subscription required).

They have the whole season in their Indy Car Pass, even more money required.

It's only $15 now (which is our associate price) through the end of May.

The official Indycar's youtube page used to upload entire races about a week after the race. But now they only upload half-hour highlights But they continue to upload full old school races once in a while.

But if you look carefully, you can find full races uploaded by some random person on the same day or a day later.

Yes he did. His crash reminded me of Bourdais' crash and was scary stuff initially.

I watched the video of Alonso's wreck, hit 3 walls! Glad he's OK, the crew have been busting butt and now, more work:

Mechanics labored Wednesday in the buttoned-down McLaren garage trying to rebuild a car for Alonso to qualify this weekend for the Indy 500. It will need a new engine because the one in the car Alonso crashed on the second day of practice had a cracked cam cover.

This return to Indy has so far been horrific for the proud McLaren group, which on opening day had to replace the alternator and entire wiring loom on Alonso's car."

He's lucky he didn't blow over or else the car would be a write-off. Part of me is happy he finally wrecked to prove the point that Indy isn't "easy" like some top F1 driver has mentioned.

Oh, the Indycar guys were ragging on F1 in a recent article, it doesn't bother me though either way. Racers loving their series, I don't care.

The hit Alonso took looked pretty hard, modern safety tech is awesome nowadays!

Get me up to speed here, the article says McLaren had been at the bottom of the speed charts prior to the crash. Do you think they are in danger of not making the 33 car cut now with the crash?

I hope Alonso makes it in.

Is it possible he gets bumped? Yes. Is it likely? No.

Good! I haven't been following it much, the wreck popped up on my page and got me back to looking for info.

turns out our CEO is making an announcement at IMS on Thursday, which conveniently aligns with the free tickets that we were offered. several groups within our function are attending, and our team is going. was hoping it would stay cool, but the weather looks good regardless. my work load is quite heavy, but after Wednesday, I needed a couple days to decompress, so really looking forward to forgetting work and enjoying some Indy in May.

Thursday, Friday, and maaaaybe Saturday at the track will be a long but fun three days.

      welcome to the layer cake

He's having a hard time adjusting to the new aero package and the lack of support from Andretti Autosport. McLaren is no slouch, but it might take them a year a few chassis tubs before they podium. IMS is a mean sunnovabitch.

You're right about the Andretti outfit giving Alonso a good car last year, agree.

That's why I was asking you if you thought Alonso might get bumped. I believe in Alonso's abilities but McLaren, new to building the car and now having to do so much repair pre qualy made me say "holy fek, they might not make it"

If (and I mean "if" in a distant world) they don't make it then that is just part of allure of IMS. If Penske can get all of his cars bumped one year then it can happen to anyone.

Alonso's chances just got better with Kyle Kaiser crashing today. Juncos Racing has no money, no sponsor, and no back-up car. Damn hard hit though.

I made surechexwas ok, then thought the same thing!

School me on Indy drivers. They said Kaiser was 23, is IndyCar going through a youth movement like F1 or has it been that way for awhile there?

There is the Road To Indy program where the IndyLight champion gets a seat in an IndyCar at some point which has been going on for a while. This program has been breeding amazing talent, not to mention the younger F1 guys that can't get a seat in F1. IndyCar has been going through a youth-movement and the raw talent has been great. Pato O'Ward and Colton Herta are great examples of this. The sport has a promising future with new cars, new rules, and people at the helm that want to keep costs under control but still have nutty speeds and high-tech.
