So with the soft top, you can't just throw it to the back like the 2 and 4 door? OK, with the 2 and 4 door, you have to remove and stash the side and rear windows somewhere. At home? So with the Gladiator, if you want to lower the soft top, you have to dismantle the whole thing? Then roll it up carefully and place it in the cargo bed? Or leave it at home?
Grant it, if one could lower and stash the top like the 2 and 4 door, it has to go somewhere so it would eat up some space in the cargo bed. Correct? And it probably won't work with a bed cover. But I ain't complainin' b/c if I were to get one, I would just get the hard top.

Well approach should be the same as there really is no front changes. jl appears to be 42-44 depending on trim
The break over is going to likely be where any clearance is noticed as it has a ~20" longer wheel base than the JLU and close to 40" more than the JL.
Departure not sure obviously a bit worse with that overhang, looks like 32-37 depending on trim for a jl
But that 137" wheelbase is probably where it gets a lot of the towing capacity from.
