      That is an improvement.

Looks a million percent better! The only superior E46 setup, IMO, are the ZHP wheels. I drove one of those at one of the BMW/Komen events and it was just about perfect all around.

I wiped the car off. I also took the old wheels out of the trunk.

As far as plans from here, I’m really not sure. I guess just drive the hell out of it.

I was wondering how the rear offset would work out. Turns out it worked out great. Well done. Huge improvement in looks and you'll love the extra rubber.

To be honest it’s great. Obviously it’s firm but it’s not the least bit uncomfortable. I spend two hours a day in the car and I’ve never wished I was out of it due to comfort.

Looks fantastic. Out of curiosity, how's the headliner doing in your car? I had to get my pillars reupholstered at one point.

      It's doing great.

There is a small wrinkle near the bottom of the A-pillar on each side, but that's it.

Speaking of which, you need to get some fake BMW wood trim for that thing.

And some brown sport seats while you're at it.

Went for the first hard drive since new wheels/tires/alignment.

Totally changed the car. First off, the 205 grand tour all seasons that were on the car gave it a floaty feeling, especially as speeds started approaching triple digits. Since it wasn't confidence boosting I simply just never approached those speeds. That's totally changed now, and the car feels very planted even at 85-110. The bit of understeer that was present under sharp turn in is now pretty much all gone. There is ever so slight understeer present, but it's gone very quick. The rear end is still very composed, even after taking the tow out. If you want it to come out, it will, otherwise it stays pretty quiet.

I can now carry enough speed to necessitate brake use, whereas before simply downshifting was all I needed before entry. Now that the car feels like it's actually connected to the road I can really throw it around more, and I'm much faster than I was before. I don't think spending the money on the AS/3's would have been worth it compared to the Ventus V1 noble2's I picked up. If there was a 30% gain in performance I don't think you'd notice it on a car like this.

Anyways, carry on. I'm happy with how it drives, how it looks, everything is going well. Glad I picked this thing up.

You're really dedicated, driving to Mexico for those triple-digit runs.

      Giddy up.
