Lets hope it drives similar to a GT3
Also NOTE: The front wheel has concave, and the rear wheel does not.

Since no one else wants to say it, I will: It's kinda ugly, compared to the 7R and 7.5R.

Oh I'm aware. It's amazing how the Passat/new Tig front end does NOT work when made smaller to fit the Golf.

I just wandered into the forums, so forgive me if I'm lost. Search for anything on MkVIII GTI reveals this thread and a couple of other old ones.

I've been out of the U.S./Western car market for a while, living mostly in places where Volkswagen doesn't do much business, but now I'm back, and I've got my heart set on a GTI MkVIII once they become available. I'm working from various internet rumor and rumour (UKJ) sites for what all of that's worth. Comments? Anyone else excited? Too far in the future (U.S. launch) to be excited about yet? Other discussions I missed?

      Thanks

I have no idea what this means, since the pix are b0rked. Is the Mk8 GTI/R not an Mk8 Golf?

      Based on what?

I've been working on the new 4cyl since they came out ~5 years ago and the engines themselves have been fantastic. At worst, the 2016 T6 models have needed the supercharger intake piping replaced due to vac leaks, but that is just about it. You see the odd minor thing go wrong from time to time, but what engine doesn't?

I seem to be consistently reading negative things about the short & long term reliability of the Volvo 4cyl from hearsay comments and I can't understand why, or where that info comes from, other than other peoples hearsay comments.
