Wow - This thread certainly filled up with 15 year old girls! Can we get back to talking about cars, or is everyone still peeing on each other?

now that would have been a far less risky (OP has incredible resell prior history) venture, and likely more rewarding.....

I’ll be interested to see how hard it is to offload the snotrocket when the time comes... Of course trading it to a dealer won’t be an issue, but otherwise it’ll be a hard sell.
Lots of people “love” this color but won’t actually pay for it because hey, there’s 15 shades of silver out there

As someone who has owned both a manual corvette and a DSG TT, the TT is a significantly better street car if you're OK with an auto.

      That green is awesome too.

IMO the wheels are at least 2" too big though, that trend needs to die. Put some lightweight 18x9s on it with good tires and drive the hell out of it.

I know its a driver focused car, but I wonder if that attention is at the expense of passenger 'comfort'.
You can see 80% of the display from the passenger seat, and the MMI controls are in two places, one for the passenger (console) and one for the driver (steering wheel).

I hope it hasn't been, but we'll see soon. If I have to do a paint correction I will. I may clear bra the whole front end as well, the 18 wheeler traffic around here is brutal.

In regards to the viper comment, I meant I already have the track car (viper).

Nope, but she genuinely wants to do more auto-x and track days with me and I think the vette may have intimidated her a bit (although she doesn't admit it). I think she wants to focus more on learning the line and feeling the car out at the limit without having to do all that and worry about gear selection. It's too much going on at once for her. We actually revisited Miatas again (RF's this time) because I felt like that would be the perfect car for her to learn on, but we still felt claustrophobic in em, so it never went anywhere.

Regardless, best of luck with the Audi - they're cool cars. (Shameless plug - I wrote up a press loaner review of one a while back here.)
Read it, not to shabby, although you weren't heavy on driving impressions.

Sorry, but I give this car 2 months max. You bought a car that YOU wanted, not what she wanted. She told you many times EXACTLY what she wanted, but you weren't having any of it. I'll be over here waiting for the next 'new car' thread.
2 months is a lofty goal, challenge accepted.
