Acknowledging muscle car enthusiasts everywhere and the triumph of an engineers ambition-- the remarkable sports cars of todays heightened level of competition, are now truly American.

We have cars like the Demon pushing 1/4 time factory records down to single digits. Mustangs rocking R codes banging doors alongside GT3's on track days; a sleuth of Chevy's rolling off showrooms and settling down Top Ten Nurburgring lap times.

I couldn't anticipate a forthcoming of such magnitude. The 60's and 70's Muscle era evolved: a spontaneity of defiance to break the stereotypical bend that burdened the American sheet metal. Electric will someday become the platinum noun to go fast goodies but for now lets lounge in the solidarity of a Muscle Car Evolution that is truly our Golden Era.

Wallow? While I would probably not buy any of the cars mentioned due to cost of appeal I am a fan of how the mustang looks and sounds these days.

No. Just a reminder to live in the moment of great automotive engineering. These cars will be sought-over someday and I am just glad to have witnessed the aftereffects to the automotive industry post-recession.

'Wallow' is not a good choice here as it carries a negative connotation ("Wallow in misery")

Is it not a proven base for evaluating vehicle performance and engineering.
