Hello Detailing Forum folks,
quick story and a question regarding my car's headlight lenses.a month ago while my car was at the shop for it's annual inspection, the shop offered to refinish my lights for $200 (they were in really bad shape)
i got the car back with the lights looking like new...what should i do as far as maintaining them?? the shop receipt only stated that they were sanded/buffed and sealed with some sort of UV resistant (UV proof??) clear sealer.no other info was detailed on it.
on the suggestion of another Vortexer,i bought a set of Lamin-X headlight plastic. browsing through the instructions for installation,it states that i will need to further coat the Lamin-X with some UV sealer  ugh! should i just leave well enough alone with the lights or slap on the Lamin-X's too? i do have some leftover marine-grade clear coat Rustoleum UV resistant Urethane spray.
not sure how to proceed with it.i was thinking of calling the shop to find out exactly what it was they sealed the lights with hmm. all this fuss might not be necessary.
