Every kid growing up in the 80s had the mainstream stuff like Star Wars, G.I. Joe and He-Man. But what toys do you remember having that you liked but that weren't mainstream, and maybe even your friends didn't have any? I think I even still have most of this stuff at my parent's house, with all my G.I. Joes (including the USS Flagg), in my parent's crawlspace. Though, I have no idea what condition it's all in.

      StarCom

They used a lot of magnets and motorized parts, they were pretty cool.

I had the Bomber and a few of the smaller sets.

      Sky Commanders

They had a bunch of cable and string systems that you can tether between pieces of furniture and the figures and some vehicles could zip back and forth.

      M.A.S.K.

I had a bunch of M.A.S.K like the 18-wheeler, Dually pick up, Jeep, Camaro, Gas Station base, Motorcycle and the classic Chevy(?), etc.

I remember M.A.S.K. but I also had Jayce & the wheeled warriors and Go Bots toys. The cartoons were awesome

Wow, had ALL of those too! The Armatron I got at a yard sale as a kid. Took a ton of batteries IIRC...

I had some of those ghetto-bots, that armatron, and zoids. My aunt and uncle who never had kids always bought my gifts from Radio Shack. Which was neat as they were interesting and different.

The 8-bit guy on youtube did a video on the armatron. How he fixed it up as well.
