Next big thing. Taking it off wasn't to bad.
Oh gosh, are you doing that yourself?
I love seeing your updates Looks great! When I had a new top, I didn't put it down because I didn't want to mar the window - I got a lot of crap for that from buddies

That is the bumps for the headrests, there's a small one for the steering wheel as well. I just have it laying in there loose. It it were snapped in it would be taught. There's a zipper between the front seats so you can pull back the area over the driver side. You could drive with the rest of it in place.
Of course if I were to win, I hope you don't mind if the car sees an M5x swap.
If this was a 325, I'd skewer you for this! But the M42, while a fine engine, isn't that inspiring.
May I suggest the humble M30 to keep it period correct? Or, if you want to go 24v, the N52 is becoming swappable with various mount/pan kits and DME flashes, and is superior in so many ways to the M5x motors (weight, power, efficiency, cost/availability, tuning).
Haha awesome. I'll absolutely be keeping an eye on it, but the way BaT is lately I'm guessing the auction won't need my help.Originally Posted by PoorHouse
