You pulled the trigger! Deftly done. I look forward to seeing it in person, especially now that the interior has been brought to your standard.

That seems like a hell of a lot of car for $10k. Wow.

Nice to see it has the innovative Bose ShoulderSurround(tm) feature. Much like the Bose ShoulderBass(tm) in my Boxster. Bose: Because all cars should have shoulder speakers.

Well its not quite there yet, ran out of daylight Sunday and with storing a friends 911 in my garage its a pain to shuffle stuff around. I figure I will treat the leather again today and start cleaning up all the plastics. The PO really loved Armorall. I might pull the wheels and pressure wash/paint the wheel wells today if WFH doesnt get in the way.

The Bose system seems....mediocre, but I have been driving the BMW with its system so it tough to compare. Surprisingly the 'infotainment' system is very easy to use, the nav hasn't been updated since 2008 so I ordered a new disc from Infiniti, only 70 bucks shipped.

The cooled seat option is pretty nice, though at first it makes you feel like you peed your pants.

I just checked local ads... $10k barely buys an average M35 where, let alone such a nice 100k mile M45.

My 9-5 had cooled seats. If I'm honest, it may have been what sold me on it (the driving experience stock certainly didn't). One test drive on an 80 degree day and after the initial reaction you describe, it's just really nice.

Yeah, so far I feel like it was well bought. The only paintwork (my pet peeve) appears to be the rear bumper, which strangely enough all of the cars I looked at had painted at some point. I blame the crappy rearward visibility and people relying on the reverse camera.

There is a rub on the rear corner which I think I can buff out easily. Zero door dings, scratches etc.

Love these. Great value at this point.
Last car I bought a ticket in was a rental M35.

This is a sharp color combination. I was expecting gray with that exterior color, than brown really looks good.

The car itself isn't my favorite, but nice job on the steam cleaner. Makes me tempted to pick one up.

My old boss bought one of these new and when I was down in the Bay area for some site visits he let me drive it. It was the first time I drove a car with A) Bluetooth (called my wife to test it out ) and B) cooled seats. The seats were awesome but I did have the pee pants feeling at first.

At that time I was still daily driving my Corrado and my wife had (still has) her 20th so this was quite the jump in tech and luxury for me.

Interesting. My mom has a 2004 with 110k and aside from the stupid dash bubbling and the exterior window trim fading (she doesn't have a garage, so it sits outside in California sun 24/7), it has been flawless. Literally not one mechanical problem.

Absolutely love this generation M. I don't see them too often, but they still look good.

You did well. That's a nice looking car with the right options. If there were a local Infiniti dealer here, I'd be tempted to pick one up.

Dude already has two high-maintenance Euro cars, this is a lot nicer than any sub-$15k AMG IMO.

No highs? No lows? must be Bose.

The steam cleaning makes that interior look amazing. We'll have to break out the steam cleaner for the Lotus seat in the Miata when I'm up next.

Great pick with the M45. How does the infotainment stuff work? The ergonomics look like they would be awkward.

I had a 2007 M45- kept it for 60k. Great car, no issues. Only items missing were a 6th gear for highway cruising and self leveling rear suspension. While M35 is a great car as well, the V8 makes a ton more torque, is considerably smoother and sounds better and for that you give up a few mpg. Several road trips over 1500 miles to NM and back, just wish it had a taller final drive or a 6th gear. Almost bought a 2010 V6 with the 7 speed and updated vq, they were tough to find. In the end just couldn't give up the v8,
      Great rig. Congrats.
