Greetings all, sorry if this is in the wrong forum... I am doing a timing belt for a friend on his 2000 Skoda Octavia 1.6L 8V and was wondering how you set the tensioner on the timing belt. It seems very weak compared to other vehicles. There appears to be 2 tabs on the tensioner itself, one with a V and one with a point. Am I correct in assuming that these two should be pointing to each other when the tensioner nut is bolted down? Also, a torque spec for that nut would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
