Hey guys, I need some help figuring out which class my car is in for SCCA Autocross. I'm pretty sure it's in street prepared but I think I confused myself on the class rules.

It's a 83 VW Rabbit GTI, everything done to it is bolted on, not welded and can be reversed. It has:

-motor swap from a 1.8l 8v to a scirocco 1.8l 16v
-stock 8v transmission
-short shifter kit
-stock fuel system
-serpentine belt setup
-TT header
-adjustable can gear
-bolt in adjustable strut mounts (can adjust caster and camber)
-H&R coilovers
-extended balljoints
-tie rod flip kit
-front strut bar
-4 point lower control arm brace
-rear 3 point strut brace
-rear swaybar
-the rear seat has been taken out
-scirocco front and rear disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors
-14x7 Revolution RFX's
-Kuhmo v710 race tires
-a/c removed
-factory manual steering

You mentioned the rear seat removal but I'm assuming you still have the rest of the interior. If so, SMF (street modified front wheel drive) is the class for you.

It has been several years since I ran in FSP and at that time the engine swap and rear disks weren't allowed. Update/backdate rules seem to change so you may be OK now but I've not read FSP limitations in years.
