Well, you live in NH... Looks like you need another SIG.
P226 is pretty big, why not a P229? You can get 17 or 18 round 9mm mags.

If you ever want no-BS answers, Handguncarry.us and OpenCarry.org are the places to go. Don't delve into OCDO, though. Holy s**t. If you use imprecise words like "permits" or "allows" when talking about the Constitution, you're getting Deliveranced for the next 4 pages in the thread.

That's certainly a possibility. I'm very happy with the 239. One of the instructors yesterday is an immigration officer. He saw my 239 and mentioned he carries it on his ankle when he's on duty. I don't think I could pull that off. He is a big dude though.
My mouth isn't that purty.

I finally got around to ordering a holster for my VP9, a Cook's Comfort Series IWB/OWB.
I ended up going with this over the Alien Gear OWB because it just looked less bulky. I'll post my impressions when I get it.

In the market for another holster.
I really like the Raven holster I got for the SIG. That style is not available for an MP9 apparently. The only style Raven has for an MP9 is over $200. Thinking I might go with an alternative...that's a lot for a holster that I'm not going to use for concealed carry.

Funny this popped back up. This is the Cook's holster that I bought a page or two back:
It was fine, but ultimately a pain in the ass to put on and off with the belt loops. For Christmas my f-i-l bought he and I a pair of Aliengear OWB cloak holsters, they were running a BOGO sale. The Cook's was fine, but the paddle is much easier to get off and on when we're out on the farms in NC.
We're both really happy with them, they have a lot of adjustability with the retention, are easy enough to get off and on with the paddle and they are compatible with their mounted docking solution. Plus they have their unconditional lifetime guarantee and lifetime shell replacement if you change guns. If I had one complaint, I wish they made shells to accommodate mounted lights.

I think I might try another one of Elbow's suggestions here. The Raven suggestion was right on and this Kaluban Cloak looks very similar for $100 for the M9. Much more reasonable.

The Kaluban Cloak came in. Very happy with the holster. Less happy with the pancake loops. Unfortunately the hole pattern isn't the same as my Raven or I'd buy a set of those. Will have to do a little more research if I'm motivated to change them.
Late to the discussion, but I'm currently using a Safariland 6378; got the ALS guard and belt-loop piece to switch out with the pancake. The ALS system is really natural and intuitive and the guard provdes a bit of protection while not making the draw clunkier or something to think about. Overall, a really well thought out system and great quality. I got everything for around ~$90 IIRC and they've got a 30% off sale going on now for 4th of July.
