      Car: 2008 Audi 2.0 Turbo (FWD) - Manual - 110,000 miles

I just noticed this evening when I'm cruising and fully press the accelerator (say I'm in 6th gear) doing 70 mph the car seems to hesitate, the RPM needle skips and what feels like wheel hop is occurring. I currently have NO CEL either. Any idea what this could be?

      Thank you.

If it's not actual wheel hop then it sounds like your clutch is slipping.

If the clutch was slipping wouldn't it happen more then just that specific rpm band? I am have the same issue with my mkv Jetta 2.0t manual.

Are you sure the CEL is not flashing? The most common culprit during this occurrence would be a misfire. If it is a misfire then a whole range of issues could be the reason.
