I don't condone their livery/sponsorship, but I love the beefy body on this thing...

I don't believe this to be true. The Panamera sport chrono is able to function as a clock, and most likely the 991, but the 997 sport chrono in all years, were not able to display time of day.

You mess with Gritty, you mess with the whole city.

      I'm watching you, Erik.

Looks so weird when the heated seat buttons aren't there. Smart previous owner eschewed the (crap) center system and installed some random aftermarket unit (note to purists: original radio was in a box in the trunk). Also note the optional fire extinguisher. I heard these cars were unreliable maintenance nightmares that caught fire...

That paint was essentially black but if you caught it at the right angles, it was very green.
Dark Olive green is a fantastic color. Green is my favorite color though so I'm a little biased. We have a few customers with cayennes in this color and they always draw my attention.

Not sure what you mean by maintenance nightmares and am hoping that you are just poking fun at that person thinking they need a fire extinguisher in their car. I've found 997.1 and 997.2's to be very reliable cars. Especially considering the fact that they are high end sports cars.

This ipanema blue car is very cool as well. It really caught my eye as well, especially being a c4 gts. Unfortunately this one has had to have the whole front clip replaced after it hit a telephone pole.

      That's a TCL meme

The GTS you posted is interesting. Love seeing the weirder colors. If you have any snaps of unique stuff post 'em up

Oh...I've seen many. But only driven the 991 Turbo and Cabrio

Point being, high revs are glorious Kind of a bummer that the 991 GT3 RS doesn't rev to 9k.

Anyway, this is a 997 thread

Damn damn damn hushy, that's a drop dead color.

Reminds me of BMWs Tasman Green a bit. Any more rare ones?

Medium greens are highly, highly underrated in the car world.

Also, those things go for like 225,000EUR in Germany. That's low mileage GT3 RS money.

Oh yeah because putting higher level OEM parts on your car is just SSSOOOOOOO TACKY.
The car looks great. GT3 bumpers does not make someone a poseur.
      98 m3, Technoviolet/anthrazit cloth, 106k and officially worthless.
      2000 323i touring, Titanium silver/grey, 160k and officially boring
