It sucks that a nice RUF was wrecked but I could care less about the douche who can't keep his car behind the lines.

I'm sure the owner will collect a nice check and he will likely make some money on parting out all the rare and pricey Ruf parts. Or maybe he'll just use them to build up another 911 based Ruf Turbo R. The good thing is cars can be replaced, people cannot.

This guy paid less than $60k for the car. Who else regrets not buying one in 2005?

Should have sold it to someone who'd have better appreciated it and stored it properly.

I hold out hope. There is alot of good car talk here and mods as of late have taken out some of the trash. There is more work to be done and this thread is proof.

Hell, I watched a 250 GTO lap Laguna Seca this year. That was $35 million dollars worth of car being throttle steered through turn three. Excellent.

Not everybody gets the same enjoyment out of looking at a car as you do. Cars like this are meant to be driven. If there's ever a time in my life where I'm afraid to drive my car in because I might get in an accident, I'm selling that thing ASAP.

If you want to spend a bunch of money for something to look at, buy a painting. I'll happily drive my car til its worth nothing.
The guy with the porsche worth 50k thats driven it 200k miles has gotten a ****load more out of his "investment" than the guy thats got one worth 120k thats only driven it 20k in the same time frame.
      98 m3, Technoviolet/anthrazit cloth, 106k and officially worthless.
      2000 323i touring, Titanium silver/grey, 160k and officially boring

Your first sentence? Just, NO! Cars should be driven. Second sentence? You don't say?
