No more spots are available for this year but if people will like to start their own league, I can post the rules we use so you may start your own for this season and your groups. :peace:

Wow this is some good conversation but apparently you guys are not businessmen.

Race strategy was set before the race (hell before the season) and the strategy was "tell Mark we will treat him fairly but in reality Seb is on top". Take a look at how much marketing revenue Mark Webber brings to the Red Bull team/brand and then step back and see what Seb brings.

Case closed, Mark Webber is a support driver, he will always be a support driver and he will always finish second. Without Seb bringing dollars to your team you would go the route of Coulthard and be a second rate announcer.

Why is it so hard for drivers to be like Barrichello. That man is truley someone to be admired (except for the Pedo stuff... that is uncalled for.)

Webber and the guy who bank rolls the whole operation are best buds. He has a seat because that guy wants him there. Vettel is best buds with that consultant dude, whoever he is.

KERS has a few modes of operation, I believe they had a mode for higher output for passing as well as probably other modes for just bumping up your speed after a turn. Vettel was in high boost. He deserved the win, I can't believe Redbull just assumed he would calm down after he fought back up to the lead and to let Webber win. I'm saying Webber thought he "deserved" to win because of his posturing after the race was over. He was acting like a crybaby.

Vettel passed a guy who thought racing was over. So he thought he deserved to win because for him, and to the guys on the pit wall, the race was over 10 laps before the checkered flag.

Horner, who is usually chill, is pissed. Newey is pissed. They didn't even smile when they were at the pit wall after the race. The guys who run the team, and give Vettel preferential treatment know he f-cked it up.

Either way I still call my MVP of the race weekend Vettel. It's a ruthless move but lets be honest here. Webber will not need those points at the end of the season but Vettel will...

Ferrari is fast, Lotus is comparable, Mercedes stole a car that works... Sometimes to be on top you have to break the rules. Schumacher did it his entire career and in more brash fashion. The only reason we are still talking about it is because Webber decided to be a baby about it and bring out all of his frustrations in public.

this whole Web vs Vet thing is as simple as this:
- If your not first, your last
- Race is not over till checkered flag

I loved all the drama in Malaysian GP, I was actually expecting heavy rain & red flags. Enjoyed when my nig pulled Jenson by driving to Mclaren pit crew  Also big  for Rosberg being good teammate, although I wish Ham would pull to the side & let him go by. Now that would be a excellent relationship in F1

I don't remember the exact sequence of events, with the pits and all, but at a certain point the team told em both to slow down. 1 did, and the other didn't.

There are a lot of people inside that are p-ssed, and feel Vettel did something wrong. They have a better picture of the situation then either of us.

yeah, I get it, but still.

Vettel got screwed because of a team call on putting him on slicks on lap 3.
Webber took the lead because he stayed out an additional 2 laps.
From that point forward, Vettel was basically on his ass.
Vettel pitted 1 lap earlier than Weber, and put in a monster lap.
Weber gets out of the pits feet ahead of Vettel on the out lap, and basically gets passed.
They continue to fight for 1 lap.
Vettel overtakes him on the striaghtaway and basically walks away.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me that no one let off.

Well I am up for whatever! What time does the GP air here?

Also since the discussion about Vettel and Webber has come to a close can we please discuss the F1 coverage on NBC.

Hello I'm Bob Varsha with David Hobbs and Steve Matchet and welcome to... Wait what are we supposed to be covering? The Barret Jackson Auction? Oh yea Formula 1 on NBC!

Bob: It's been an exciting race so far here at Sepang and with all of the front runners starting on intermediates we have had pit action early.

David: Oh and Mark Webber hits the pits for his third stop to change onto the Hard tires.

Steve: He must be doing that to abide by the regulations... sidebar "in Forumla One the regulations state that drivers must do one stint on both sets of tire compounds in the race"....

And I swear it's like they have no idea who is driving which car. How are these clowns supposed to promote F1 in America if they can't even get the drivers right.

Ok, so if we are going to watch the china race at 2am, I'm saying we take this to a field trip someplace.

I will be looking at adult entertainment venue's with private rooms for the 6 of us. I need something to do between the last pitstop and the end of the race, because apparently forumula 1 drivers don't race during that time anymore.

You must email me the driver you wish to pick up. The Wednesday before the race I take all of the requests and rank our teams from worst to best. The worst team gets first dibs at a free agent and I move down the list from there.

Pick-ups will be announced on Thursday morning at which point Free Agents are first come first serve. Meaning after Thursdays mornings announcement anyone can pick up any driver in any order if that driver is available.

I was going to make a reservation at Maestro's steakhouse for Saturday night after talking with Greg Tivs. Seeing as we could all sit down like gentlemen and enjoy some of the best steak in Chicago, and then maybe go to a casino or pub and hang out. Then watch the race the next day in a relaxed fashion.

You all down for this? I have reservations set for Saturday @ 8:45pm/ Maestro's Steakhouse. Anyone is free to stay at my home as well.

I'm still up for Sushi, the steakhouse was just suggested so we could eat some MEAT and chill in a place and then go out wherever since we'd be downtown already instead of by the airport. Lemme know, I'm down to cancel this and go do sushi as well. It's not bad at all. We could also go to sushi the next day for lunch even if people wanted.
