No more spots are available for this year but if people will like to start their own league, I can post the rules we use so you may start your own for this season and your groups. eace:
Greg O - (team name not available) has provided us with our first Free Agent pick-up of the season. Based on his extensive research of Formula 1 and the Toro Roso Formula 1 team, he believes it would be best to part ways with his initial 3rd round selection and instead pick-up new comer Esteban Gutierrez from the Free Agent pool. With this signing Greg hopes to continue his honored tradition of barely paying attention until he is assured that he will be competitive.
Congratulations to Esteban and Greg we wish you the best of luck in the BSF1 season.
cliffs: you should follow politics if you're going to take a commi driver who is backed by his fellow commi who is about to kick the bucket (Maldonado)
Sky was achieved this evening. However the quality is quite bad, it's like watching youtube on a big screen.
Good news is that NBCSPORTS will be showing all of the practices, qualifying and the race live! So we just need to figure out who will host the clan for the first race!
I though Greg T was talking about having people over to watch it at his place. Nothing like watching F1 on an 11 foot screen in hd. But I will be down for whatever.
toying around with my team name, for some reason i'm having hard time finding something for these guys...
- last minute helper
- do u even lift off
- race day swagger
- Sofa racing
- iRape
- boner pants
Are you implying that Romain was in fact a highly paid hit-man? If that is the case I am very upset I did not pick him.....
Alright guys,
Saturday is St. Patrick's Eve. Parin would like to go clubbing in the Sit-eh Saturday night which could work. I was thinking we do some day partying and then head out to Gregs later in the evening and we could nap or go to the casino. Everybody weigh in on there thoughts. The river gets dyed Green in the A.M. if anyone wants to attend.
Ill be out and about saturday during the day up until mid afternoon. I have no intentions going out at night. So that's when I'll head over to Greg's. Also going to see the the water turn into the sea of Hulk. Everyone is welcome.
They can't all be as great as I am. No joke, I looked into auditioning for the F1 job with some friends I have at NBC. Turns out the jobs were already taken before they even announced the switch over. After some horrible failure this year I hope to have a shot at next years broadcast team. eace:
Keep a look out for a season preview tomorrow evening. 56 hours till Practice!
Instead of instruction, she got "dowhatyouwant" and "Idon'tcare." There is also audible laughter from the Kimster, which might be the first time that's ever happened.
I like the 1 second clip they show him putting his helmet on in the beginning because if they didn't, no one would believe it is him due to the laughing.
I also like the part:
Reporter: Oh, oh! What do I do? Kimi!!!!!!
Kimi: (Silence)
It’s business as usual at Ferrari with grumpy charm-vacuum Fernando Alonso and panda-faced pace-o-phobe Felipe Massa taking care of driving chores, all under the stewardship of Director Of Appearing On Television, Stefano Domenicali who sometimes finds time to run the team, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the vital business of locating and standing in front of TV cameras looking like a strangely unfunny impersonation of Vic Reeves. Boosted by successful pre-season testing, the team is said to be confident it can find several rules to bend and promises it is in good shape to make an annoyingly pompous fuss whenever another team does anything wrong.
