We have secured Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway for a very special and unique event. Friday March 16th has been reserved for all Audi Club Golden Gate Members that are high intermediate, advanced, or are ACGG instructors. The day will be exciting, fun, and educational day of advancing your driving skills on one of the most exciting tracks in North America; Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey.

Laguna Seca is a 2.24 mile professional race track with significant elevation changes, slow and fast corners, and the the world famous corkscrew, It is one of the most famous turns in all of motor racing. This High Performance Driving Event will give you an opportunity to improve your driving skills and learn more about your car's capabilities in an exciting & complex environment.

In addition to the three run groups for the day (C-Intermediate, D-Advanced, and Instructor) there will be an instructor certification class being conducted during the event.

Here is the fine print about who qualifies for this event. All student drivers (C/D) must have been solo'd at a previous ACGG event at the C or D level. Additionally these drivers must have received positive evaluations from previous instructors. If you have not been solo'd at a C level at an ACGG event you will not qualify to attend.

If you have questions about your eligibility for the event contact gordon@audiclubgoldengate.org PRIOR to registering for the event. Instructors must have instructed at an Audi Club Golden Gate event within the past two years and have experience at Laguna Seca Raceway.

Instructor Candidates: Those that are interested in becoming instructors for the Audi Club MUST contact the Terry Geiser (the Chief Instructor for the club) by email at terry@audiclubgoldengate.org or the chief instructor for the event paul@audiclubgoldengate.org PRIOR to registering.

To insure that we will deliver the highest quality of instruction, we are limiting the number of "Instructor Candidates" to a maximum of 8 individuals. Again, if you are interested in becoming an instructor, and you wish to attend this event as an instructor candidate, you must be pre-approved for the instructor training prior to registering for the event.

8 instructors will also be needed to assist in the instructor candidate training. Both the instructor candidates and the Instructors who assist in the training will receive a $100 credit towards the AudiTron event in May at Thunderhill Raceway. Both the candidates and the those instructors that will be assisting may lose some time on track. If you are in interested as an instructor to assist in the training portion of the day contact Terry or Paul and let them know your interest.

Registration for this event is limited to 25 per group! Registration will be up on Motorsportreg.com shortly.
