The 75 in Vizio I picked up for my buddy last week develops a line of dead pixels

It was no fun but I helped and taking that big basterd down and lugging it back to Best buy.

Somebody bought the biggest baddest TV that they have in the store and returned it right after super bowl.

He ended up getting about nine hundred bucks off of it open box.

      Sony 950g 85 inch

To put it into perspective that is a banquet table it is sitting on and its edge to edge lol

Thank God the manager threw in free delivery this time and let us take a open box 65 that can fit in his car to get him by until they deliver it.

Now would be a good time to plumb a keggerator into your faucet.

This weekend I bought a car that will eventually go to mykidsux2. 2011 Jetta with 67K, for 1 stack (is that still an official OT denomination for currency?) It's got some bumps and bruises, the interior needs a through cleaning, and the brakes need to be done NOW, but the suspension is tight and it drives great.

And it has this. He wasn't thrilled about the prospect of Manuel, but he'll get over it. Or continue to walk.

It was definitely rode hard. It belonged to a good friends brother, and instead of taking care of the car he had, he bought a new one. It's been sitting at a their parents house for quite awhile now. Thankfully, the stuff that's wrong with it is easy to remedy for someone with any sort of basic mechanical skills. His brother was not one of those people.

I think it is a great decision. Even if he never likes it, it will force concentration on the important task at hand.

edit: is 1 stack still $1000? I feel like that is a heck of a lot of car for $1,000. I bought a 100k mkII in '97 for $2800 as my first car. this is WAY more car than that.

Looks like the worst part is the fender and that shifter. Just a cleaning and shift boot will have it looking fancy.

I hope he spent a stack, 'cause I can sell him my showroom-stock by comparison A4 for 1.5 stacks.

New drain, pipes and p trap to replace my kitchen sink drain that developed a leak on Saturday. I'm using pvc this time instead of the chrome plated stuff.

      About $25

      Giant man rings?

Probably cause by a dog going nuts when left in the car unattended.

It's a STACK of $100 bills. Not 10 of them.

If that's the case I was way off. I can't keep up with the exchange rate. But yeah, I didn't think it was too bad for $1000 in Freedom Funds.

I will refer everyone to this thread from 2008 where "stack" was thoroughly defined and debated. It was the earliest mention I could find on CL

False. A stack is 100 bills.

      So $100 x 100 = $10,000

Uhh I think a TCL stack is only 1k. and it is a stack if you use $10 bills.
