The switch for the overhead lights in my garage is inside the house, in the laundry/mud room. That can be a little annoying when wanting to turn the lights on/off when inside the garage.

Giving this a try. If it’s a POS, I’ll add some shop lights to the ceiling that I can control independently.

Our liftmaster jackshaft openers came with “wireless” led lights for the ceiling. They are motion triggered by the wall controllers but they are bright as hell. Just the two of them make it like day time in the garage.

Under cabinet LED lighting with soft white setting.

10th Wemo plug to connect it to my Alexa/Google assistant.

Wish I could have found dimmable fixtures to connect to my Lutron setup, but this will do.

      It looks well done though.

Question though. I assume that door was the back or side door? Do you have another access point to the outside?

Rift S to go with the new PC.

I've had an Oculus Go for the last year, it's a great media device - this is just a different animal.

I've been screwing around with Project Cars 2 and Assetto Corsa and it's incredible. The experience is so immersive, it's almost ridiculous.

I have been tempted to buy the Oculus quest.

You can now plug it into your PC and use it like a rift

      https://youtu.be/0x-p608YpdM

You can even run it wifi

I did consider the Quest. But I just don't have a need for mobile VR gaming.

I already had the Go, and while less powerful than the Quest, it does everything I'd want to do wirelessly (media consumption). If I bought a Quest, it'd just sit tethered all the time anyways. And since Oculus Link requires some rendering compromises and introduces some latency, the Rift S made more sense for me.

The Quest definitely has its place as a jack of all trades solution though.

Yes, it was a weird layout from an addition being built on the house. 2 feet from the kitchen door was an entrance into the laundry/mud room. That's why we removed this door.

Best buy has the Logitech g602 wireless gaming mouse for 70% off right now.

I am using one of those silent click nice right now, and I hate it. Hopefully this thing is "clickier"
