My god. I would certainly ensure my spot in hell if I said out loud what i would be willing to give for that car.
Do you have info on the build and more pics? Many, many, many more pics.
The sequential gearbox is unbelievable.

Is this Kurt Haßmann's old Kafer-Cup Division W4 car?
I was lucky to attended some of the Kafer-Cup races in Germany back in the early 90s. It was some of the best road racing action I'd seen in a long time. I even had a chance to meet and talk to Dr. Josef Gerold and Kurt Haßmann about their cars. Serious pieces of kit!!! I imagine that a lot of the Kafer-Cup cars ended up in hillclimbs and club events in Germany and Austria.
For reference, below are some scans of an interesting test that Gute Fahrt did in their May 1993 edition. It compared the top Kafer-Cup Division W4 car of the time (Dr. Joseph Gerold) against a factory Porsche Carrera Cup car.
Imagine, ...2.9L (Typ4 - 914) 220 hp in a 1763 lb. Super Beetle. The Beetle was faster than the Porsche around Hockenheim!! Brush up on your German (Babelfish works good too):
I think I'll mention to my club's competition director to add big stacks of tires behind some of our autocross cones next year!
