Right, the lads made up for the pathetic show at midweek at burnley with the good ole 0-5 win over wigan.
I'm glad Owen got his goal, and pretty enough to boot.
Rooney's making up for those goals missed by ronnie, but we'll see how it turns out in a month or two.

Right about the 2-1 win over the spammers. Still at the top of the league. I realize it won't last but its nice feeling. Is this how it feels to be a United fan? And how about Defoe? 2 international goals, 4 club goals in one month and there is a weekend still to go. South Africa is clearly in his sights.
Also here is a thread from a West Ham forum that was linked in a Spurs forum. It talks about how a lot of West Ham fans were singing "You should have died with your brother" about Jermain Defoe. F'ed up. Its just footy.

We're still going to NY. I'll call you when I get home tomorrow.

Unncessary. A simple "hey, forgot the link." would have been sufficient. Here it is.

I'm pretty sure I will be riding Liverpool hard this season. Yet again, they put a lot of blame on the referee's in their last loss. Especially with the extra time before half. How about the Man U midfield? Nani is really in good forml.

CL draw was today. Not strictly EPL related I guess, but still important enough. And is it just me or does Arsenal get away with super easy groups most of the time? (Don't worry, I don't own a UEFA tinfoil hat). ManU looked to be a pretty easy group up until they got Wolfsburg in the 4th slot, but still not bad all things considered.

We got a good draw for sure. Hopefully the magic balls are nice to us when the knock out stages start.

      Bull****. The both of them.
Will the FA be looking into rooney's glaringly obvious dive? Of course not...

DUDE WHAT!? Are you freaking serious? A dive? At least Rooney was actually touched. My time is way to precious to actually insult you throughly.

Rooney was touched on his fall to the ground when his collapsing knees hit Almunia. He played it perfectly. Take off you red glasses.

OK it is very clear that they have been trained to do things like that. It even happened when Diaby was "hit" and awarded a free kick. Your boys go down easier than a Dutch hooker. They pass slick like Spanish teams and their capacity to take physical play is pretty weak too. I played soccer on the highest youth levels from 10-18 years old and I know about selling it, but to not even be fouled in the first place but act like you did is one thing that makes me hate this game. My sight is clear son, your boys got a taste of their own GD medicine. Plus had that not happened, would the own goal have happened? You tell me?

Thanks for your soccer resume. I'd have thought someone with that vast soccer background would refrain from asking such retarded questions.
Regardless, sounds like you agree in the end. Arsenal did get a taste of their own medicine - diving. Difference is this time it actually mattered.

When you think about it, it is because it was not a dive. Had it been, then PK. However, Rooney did not dive and he does not go down easy. Van Persie, Fabragas and now Eduardo are all three the types that if there is ANY contact in the box the arms are flappping, legs going everywhere and yelling for a PK. All I have to say, is don't compare that call to Eduardo's against Celtic. Eduardo, no contact, might as well have called the foul against a blade of grass.

OK there E-thug. Cool your heels. I have a right to my opinion as do you. So leave the personal attacks out of it. Just take the freaking loss, we play again later in the season. I mean we lost to Burnley. Damn

it wasn't a personal attack to you, it was to anyone who thinks arshavins should have not been a pk and rooneys should have

Dude, it was pretty personal, but no use whining. That may be the case, however Eboue did it too, causing Evra to see yellow. That solidified the fact that those guys do that type of crap too often and being an avid soccer fan it pisses me off to see players do that just to get an edge. Plus, admit it, they are not a physical team and Wenger is a players coach by trying to protect his guys through constantly riding the fourth official. I mean he was bickering about Fletcher from the start and besides the Arshavin incident he wasn't constantly fouling. As for the other 3 I mentioned, they do go down easy, so as to sell the call, however, when they do it all the time and their team is known for doing it the calls will not go their way.
