Octane Magazine has a feature on their site today recounting driving a new replica of a Lamborghini Miura Jota - the rarest of the much-lusted Miura line. Don't let the word 'replica' scare you though... this is far from a Lambiero.
Apparently the owner, Piet Pulford, has spent 15 years making a copy of the one-off Jota. The car itself is based on, well, a Lamborghini Miura and Pulford went to Bob Wallace, the engineer behind the original.
This is Octane we're talking about (one of our favorite print mags), so the article has plenty of insider history on the original as well as the build of this very special replica.
More after the jump.
