I have a bunny that the dash cluster lights don't always work in. Let me clarify - first thing in the morning, I don't have lights on the dash, but I do have lights on the small cluster of 3 gauges. After about 15-30 minutes of driving, they just pop on and work fine for the rest of the day. It does not seem to be headlight switch related, this has recently been replaced with a new one, and the symptoms have remained.
      Thoughts? TIA!

Connector at the bottom of the cluster is probably loose. Stick a piece of electrical tape UNDER the flexible circuit board where the terminals wrap around the tab. This will make the connection more sung.
You might be able to feel the connector from under the dash without taking anything apart. But taking the dash bezel off it pretty easy anyway.
