Using MP3 playlists on Bose Audio - how?

The user manual says the Bose Audio system included in my 2007 RS4 will play standard playlists (M3U format), but the language is a little vague, and when I copy playlist to the SannDisck cards I store my MP3s on, the system doesn't 'see' them, although it can and does play the MP3s fine. Anyone have any idea how to make playlists work? I'm using 2GB Sandisks, so there are an awful lot of songs on them and playlists would really be useful as it's kind of dangferous to be scrolling all over the place to look for a specific song or album whilst driving

Effectively, if you create file folders for each song grouping, it will read each folder as a list. So, if you want to order the playlist specifically, put the numbers "01, 02,03", etc. in front of the names as it will automatically order them based on alphanumeric criteria.
