It looks as much like the Ford GT as the original Muira looked like the original GT-40. They were similar designs back then and they are similar designs now, should it be different???
Now ask yourself which you would rather have. And then ask yourself who copied who?? And then ask yourself if it really matters.

I'd rather have a 997 Turbo or '06 Z06 over either. If I have to stay in the same exotic price range then a Carrera GT.

Jesus Christ Miura is 52. The manga can go on for 30 more years and he'll still probably be alive.
But considering it was years ago when he estimated the story to be 60-70% complete, I really don't think he's even gonna hit 70 before this finishes.
King is 71 and still writing. Miura is 52, people.
Also you have to consider that the homerun stretch may potentially bring out some nostalgic momentum for Miura, and he may start pumping chapters out like the old days once he's got everything figured out.
But yeah, if Miura consistently writes 1 chapter a year, I'd agree then that he'll die before it's finished. I just really feel silly jumping to conclusions like that, though. I think people are really melodramatic when they bring up OP's point.
