As early as next year, the Italians plan to introduce an all-new Miura, Lamborghini's answer to the Ferrari Enzo. It will be derived mechanically from the midengine Audi Le Mans. The Miura will be lower, wider and shorter than the donor car. It boasts an upgraded V12 engine. The displacement goes up to a massive 6.5 liters, and the power output increases to 700 horsepower.

The LeMans is now called the R8.
Anyone know a good bank for me to knock off??
Damn those are beautiful, old and new alike. One of my favorite body stylings (the classic), ever since I was young and had a hot wheels look a like. The new concepts look just as amazing, reviving a classic car worth a second look.
I LOVE the original Miura!! I remember drooling over the matchbox version for weeks when I'd walk home from school. There it was, sitting in the case in the drugstore window!! Well and truely one of the most beautiful cars ever built. Would love to see more pics of the new concept, looks like it stayed true to the original design.

First of all, the pic is not even the new Miura. It's a 2+2 Front-engined GT concept from Lamborghini. Second of all, the original Miura is one of the hottest cars of all time. You're a total loon. It's like posting a pic of the Cayenne and saying "Awesome car... Screw the original Porsche 911".

Realisticaly, close to a million bucks.
I am confused why are there 2 completely different 'New' Miura's I was pretty sure the one lambo brought out as a concept was retro like the lime coloured one. I totally agree with transo the original Miura was one of the most beautiful looking cars ever made this one will just be a retro remake to profit on the sucess of the original
